The News Times:”U.N. Urges Expansion of Tsunami Warning System to Indian Ocean”

In the article UN members want to set up warning system in Indian Ocean. How the system will warn governments in future. Then from there each government can take safety measures. This system will link too many different countries; some countries already have this system to indicate if there is earthquake, hurricane, etc will take place. Salvano Briceno, the director, hopes that every country will agree and believe in this plan. This proposal could save many countries, if this plan was planted in Southeast countries. There hope these countries will come together to help build a new and improve system to prevent any future disaster.

2. I believe there aren’t any villains in tragic incidents. I think if we are looking to blame someone, I think it would be lack technology. I think we also blame the lack technology to warn about the incidents beforehand.

3. I believe that there aren’t any real heroes; I think everyone that helped out the red cross, foreign aid, etc that helped people overcome this disaster. I think every person in those countries that came together.

4. I think main difference between New York Times, post, and guardian is that each newspaper display story with different point of view. Post put the news on international scale, and it allow read less news compare to the other two. The guardian and New York times allows read to have international view on the story. Both papers have long and detail stories.
